365体育足球官网The “Mental Health Matters” conference is designed for formation and vocations personnel as well as diocesan and religious leadership, and aims to help participants better recognize and respond to mental health concerns as they arise in initial and ongoing formation of priests, and men and women religious.
365体育足球官网The workshop topics will include dealing with histories of trauma and sexual abuse, how to refer and participate in a candidate’s treatment, addressing intellectual deficits and learning difficulties, internet pornography and online addictions, deciding between counseling and spiritual direction, and more.
Speakers will include national and international experts in psychology and human and spiritual formation. The presenters include Msgr. Stephen Rossetti, PhD, author of numerous books and articles on priestly wellness and spirituality; Rev. David Songy, OFM Cap, PsyD, current president and CEO of Saint Luke Institute, Br. John Mark Falkenhain, OSB, PhD, and Emily Cash, PsyD.
